Rango then tricks Jake into hiding with the aide of the moles, flying through the air on bats in a hawk-shaped formation. Once the water main begins to flow, Jake is thrown into the air by a spout of liquid. In a mock standoff, Rango lures Jake over a covered mole hole. However, before Jake can kill her, Rango returns and a skirmish for Dirt begins. Beans continues to deny the Mayor what he wants, so Jake pulls her into a death squeeze after an exchange of threats and insults. Jake sees the cowardice in Rango's eyes and hisses, " You got killer in your eyes, son? I don't see it." After driving Rango out of town, he and Mayor John kidnap Beans, trying to force her to give up her family's ranch. After confronting Rango and publicly outing him for all he's lied about, Jake mockingly asks him to pull the trigger and shoot Jake with just one bullet.
Rattlesnake Jake makes his debut just as Rango begins to appease an angry mob of Dirtfolk. Rattlesnake Jake was initially brought into the plot by Mayor John to be used as a hitman, after being mentioned several times by townsfolk to instill fear of the character in the audience. Snake himself tags bullet timers and even actual speedsters at least once in almost every game.And now, I get to play Rattlesnake Jake, and he's pretty scary. The only people capable of even matching him in a gunfight are Liquid Snake and Revolver Ocelot, Liquid being Snake's exact equal in every way and Ocelot being the guy that shoots skillfully enough to casually ricochet bullets. Snake has outshot Venom Snake, Sniper Wolf, Olga Gurlukovich, and several other MASTER marksmen. Once again he killed likely hundreds of them. Snake killed not seven of these soldiers, not eleven, but likely over 100 in various shootouts throughout the game.Įvery single PMC soldier in MGS4 was enhanced with nanomachines that improved their physical, mental, and emotional abilities to the peak of what a soldier is supposed to be, while Snake was simultaneously rapidly aged into the body of a 70 year old man suffering numerous ailments and conditions. Honestly I don't want to discredit two great badasses of video games, but I really feel like Snake can definitely solo them both based off his far superior Literally every single Genome Soldier on Shadow Moses Island was genetically enhanced to rival or surpass Solid Snake himself. 47 meanwhile is a level below even Sam because as far as I know, he doesn't even infiltrate such elite military compounds on the reg like Sam and David both do, and his usual fair is much lower like security and bodyguards and such. I mean Sam hasn't even encountered ANY superhumans at all, let alone proven he can use stealth to win against a crazy shaman super soldier with supernatural abilities while trapped inside a giant freezer AKA Vulcan Raven. Sam is the more elite between himself and 47, but even when he's infiltrating black sites and heavily guarded government sites, it's never with every single canon fodder guard being a genetically enhanced super soldier, or in broad daylight with his CO being a traitor and actively leading him into traps and giving him bad orders every step of the way, let alone the scenes Snake found himself needing to deal with in the War Economy, where most of the entire planet was constantly engulfed in a state of war where technology had advanced to sci-fi levels with war machines stalking every corner and every individual soldier enhanced and unified by a nanomachine hive-mind thing, ALL while stuck in the body of a dying old man far passed his prime.
From what I know, neither are really up to his stealth level.
